Winter’s Solstice on the First Day of Spring

Happy Easter friends,

I’m having an Easter party and someone asked me ‘What does your music sound like’ and so I popped on to my blog and played it for him. You can read the whole post here about my story with George Winston. I was remembering George Winston’s album Winter Solistice and the story goes that back in my darkest hour of my life, I was inspired to write this song. I wrote it on the Winter Solstice itself December 22 – I believe it was in the year 2000. I’ll have to check. This version was recorded in the studio 3 years later after I had a bit of practice.
